News and Updates Our 2008 Specialty Shows and Obedience Trials were held on May 17 and 18 at the Biltmore Hotel in Oklahoma City. Results are posted on the Upcoming Show page and have been forwarded to the parent club website as well. If you weren't there, you missed a good time, great weather and great pizza! Join us next year! Member Ralph Kooken's dog, Ch. Donaghan O'Rourke of Heinerburg completed the requirement for his Register of Merit at our shows. Congratulations, Ralph!!!! We conducted a silent auction fundraiser Memorial Day weekend at the All-Breed shows in Shawnee. Thanks to all the members who contributed items for the auction, helped set up and manned the booth. We made about $275. The annual picnic will be held on July 13 at the home of Kelley and Eric Flaming. Stay tuned for details on date and directions to the party. Nominations are now open for 2008-2009 officers. The nominating committee slate will be published in the newsletter. Additional nominations can be made from the floor at the annual meeting on July 13. Annual dues are now due. You will need to pay dues before you will be allowed to vote in the election of new officers in July. |
